Purchase COLORBOND® Spandek roof sheets – this profile is used on low roof pitches or is just as popular for wall cladding.
Spandek can be used on roofs with a pitch of 2 degrees or greater.
What is the sheet cover?
The cover width of the Spandek sheet is 700mm.
Which fasteners do I use?
For roofing, fix through the top of the rib with 12 x 65 T17 Timber fixing screws
For wall installation, fix through the low pan of the sheet using 12 x 25 T17 Timber fixing screws or 10 x 16 Steel fixing screws.
SPANDEK® is pierce-fixed to timber or steel supports. This means that fastener screws pass through the sheeting. You can place screws for SPANDEK® through the crests or in the valleys. To maximise roof water tightness, always place screws through the crests. For walling, you may use either crest or valley-fixing.
Sheet Tolerance: Length: + 0mm, – 15mm; Width: + 4mm, – 4mm Make allowance for thermal expansion or contraction for long-length roofs at sheeting ends
