FCTL Direct Fix Ceiling Batten Clip for Trusses / Joists
FCT Batten clips are designed for use with the N18 Ceiling Batten. They are used to suspend the N18 Ceiling Batten from Trusses or Joists, typically in the residential market.
Coming in a range of sizes from 90-170mm the FCT batten clips provide a fast way of suspended ceiling battens, creating a superior flatter ceiling. Using the FCT Batten Clip, also decreases the potential of the ceiling cracking, as it provides a separation between the structural frame and ceiling.
The FCTL Clip has an overall length of 150mm, providing a effective length of 110mm.
FCT batten clips are first installed into the N18 batten by twisting the clip into the batten. The clips are then slid along the batten to the respective position and fixed to side of the truss or joist.The FCT Clip features a vertical slot, allowing the clip to be screwed on, adjusted, then fixed off to create a perfectly level ceiling.
The FCT clips can also be used with the N23 Furring Channel and fixed to purlins in commercial applications.
