Cup Head Bolt & Nuts (Coach) are used to attach wood to wood or steel with a matching nut to clamp the materials together. The coach bolt has a low profile domed head and a square section under the head which resists turning when the nut is tightened or removed. The square section pulls into the wood as the nut on the other end is tightened, thus eliminating the need for a second spanner. Used to support structure, in timber framing, outdoor furniture, fencing and retaining walls, a common example is the seat and back slats of your garden bench and table furniture
