BAMBOO DOOR TYCHE – GLAZED TRANSLUCENT & ROUTED

BAMBOO DOOR TYCHE – ROUTED & GLAZED TRANSLUCENT NARROW GRAIN CARBONISED

LETO Bamboo is a proud manufacturer of Solid Bamboo Doors. Our Solid Bamboo doors are not only beautiful, they are strong.

Bamboo is harder than traditional hardwood timbers.

The Janka hardness rating chart below provides a comparison between bamboo and a range of timber alternatives.

The Janka hardness test measures the resistance of a sample of wood to denting and wear.
It measures the force required to embed an 11.28mm diameter steel ball halfway into a sample of wood.

There are many sound reasons for selecting bamboo as the material for an exterior door – but let the test results speak for themselves.

Worthy of note (aside from the structural strength, unsurpassed by 99% of timber species) Bamboo exceeds many environmental impact values when it comes to preservation of the natural world.
